Jetzt ist es endgültig: Ab 2019 muss im Stadtgebiet von Bockenem niemand mehr Straßenausbaubeiträge bezahlen.
Wenn im Stadtgebiet künftig Straßen ausgebaut werden, müssen die Anlieger nicht mehr dafür tief in die Tasche greifen.
In der Stadt Bockenem ist die Straßenausbaubeitragssatzung (STRABS) seit dem1.1.2019 abgeschafft. Die Gemeinschaft Bockenem, gemeinsam mit dem örtlichen Bürgerverein, hatte in mehreren Veranstaltungen die Einwohner der Stadt informiert und die Abschaffung der ungerechten Satzung gefordert. Die Ratsfraktionen und der Bürgermeister waren bei diesen Veranstaltungen jeweils zugegen. Die vorgebrachten Argumente haben am Ende wohl überzeugt und dazu geführt, dass der Rat der Stadt zum Jahresende die ungeliebte Satzung aufgehoben hat. Die Gegenfinanzierung erfolgt durch eine moderate Anhebung der Grundsteuern. Dass einige Ratsmitglieder auch Mitglied unserer Gemeinschaft sind, hat dabei sicher nicht geschadet…
