Agenda 2030 vor Ort Landkreis Hildesheim
Im Jahr 2015 haben die Vereinten Nationen auf ihrem Gipfel der Staats- und Regierungschefs die â2030-Agenda fÞr Nachhaltige Entwicklungâ beschlossen. Diese gilt als Wegweiser fÞr mehr Nachhaltigkeit und fÞr ein neues globales WohlstandsverstÃĪndnis. Alle 193 LÃĪnder der Welt haben die Agenda unterzeichnet und sich damit zur Umsetzung verpflichtet. Deutsch-land nimmt mit der Unterzeichnung als Industriestaat eine wichtige Stellung ein.
KernstÞck der Agenda 2030 sind die 17 Ziele fÞr nachhaltige Entwicklung (Sustainable Development Goals oder kurz SDGs). Die 169 Unterziele dienen als Richtmaà des zukÞnftigen Handelns.
Mit den Nachhaltigkeitszielen werden alle Poli-tikbereiche berÞhrt, von der Wirtschafts-, Sozial-, Umwelt-, Klima-, und Finanzpolitik, Þber die Agrar- und Verbraucherpolitik bis hin zu Bereichen wie Verkehr, Bildung und Gesundheit. Es wird deutlich, dass die Nachhaltige Entwicklung nicht einfach âvon obenâ durch die Vereinten Nationen verordnet werden kann.
Der Landkreis Hildesheim wird kÞnftige MaÃnahmen und Planungen mit den SDGs verknÞpfen und dementsprechend ausgestalten. Gemeinsam mit der Kommunalpolitik mÃķchten wir zusammen diesen Weg fÞr mehr Nachhaltigkeit gehen und die Region zukunftsfÃĪhig gestalten. Der erstmalig vorgelegte Nachhaltigkeitsbericht soll die Bestandsaufnahme bereits entwickelter landkreiseigener Konzepte zusammenfassen und die VerknÞpfung mit den SDGs darstellen. Dieser Bericht soll gleichzeitig aber auch als Handlungsempfehlung fÞr eine nachhalti-gere Zukunftsgestaltung dienen. Wir als Landkreis Hildesheim sollten konsequent vorangehen und diese gesellschaftlichen und politischen Aufgaben als Chance mit vielen EntwicklungsmÃķglichkeiten ansehen. Gleichzeitig besteht eine Verantwortlichkeit gegenÞber den BÞrgerinnen und BÞrgern und deren nachfolgenden Generationen, dass sie auch in Zukunft gut im Landkreis Hildesheim leben kÃķnnen.
